This license is an agreement between Lonely Octopus (“we”) and the individual purchaser (“you”). By downloading, installing, or using Lifebot, you agree to these terms.
1. Your license
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install, run, and modify Lifebot on computers or servers you own or control, for your own personal use.
2. What you may not do
You may not share, publish, upload, sublicense, rent, resell, or otherwise distribute Lifebot or your download access to another person. You may not use Lifebot to provide a commercial hosted service without our written permission.
3. Your data and third-party services
Lifebot may connect to services you choose. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. You are responsible for your accounts, credentials, use, backups, and compliance with applicable law.
4. Updates and support
Your purchase includes the version supplied to you and any updates or support we separately promise. We may change or discontinue future features, updates, or support.
5. Ownership
Lifebot and its original materials remain the property of Lonely Octopus and its licensors. This agreement gives you a license, not ownership of the software or its intellectual property.
6. Warranty and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lifebot is provided “as is” without warranties, and Lonely Octopus is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages. Our total liability relating to Lifebot will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
7. Termination
This license ends if you materially breach it. If it ends, you must stop using Lifebot and delete copies in your possession or control.
8. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Hong Kong, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer rights that apply to you are not excluded.
